Pretty sure USN BB-63 was Missouri not Iowa 12:13

Parem de estragar bons filmes com essa merda de dublagem automática, fica impossível de assistir!
Nada a ver essa merda!👎

Sounds like yank incompetence mixed with hubris which leads us to now. Nothing’s changed.

The Captain referred to the dead sailors as " soldiers". The US Navy has NEVER called its members  as "soldiers" I bailed out. I  don't care what happens in this clueless movie. BYE SUCKERS.

T"he U.S. Navy’s first report suggested sabotage by a crew member, Clayton Hartwig, claiming he had used an electronic or chemical detonator. The Navy also speculated he may have been suicidal because of a breakup with his gay loverr". ANYONE who believes that sheet is special needs. Give me a break. Those involved in that cover up, at all levels, should hive been sent to prison. HOW DARE THEM treat the memory of our military killed in action like that.

I was aboard the IOWA that day, GMG2 Larry Daniels, gun captain of 5" 38 gun mount MT 54 port side. Lost my best friend that day John Rodney Young.

I was told there are two kinds of ships in the Navy....submarines, and targets....of course, I don't know jack, just sayin

Complete BS... pushing the gay BS theory too!
Sad actually... couldve made for a Great Movie!
Instead... loaded with BS Political narratives, ignoring rhe Facts!
Typical Hollywierd BS!!!

To all that served aboard them, I stand and salute you all. Thank you alI for your service.

punk jr. lt. know it all ..time to throw him overboard one night

We can get rid of the Military now ... We assisted the UK in Murdering the people in our way and created a "Base" called Israel. That is why in 1913 "THEY" started WW1 with Funding on all sides .. Began Property Extortion Fees (Taxes) ... "They also started their ... ADL ... to keep people from discovering "Their" real Agenda. We now all live under "Their" ... "ZOG".

All BS ... not close to Real Military Life.  With Awful actors.

It's an unfortunate thing that battleships are pretty much archaic warfare at this point just like the Army is! I was glad to sail under the USS Iowa as I was aboard the USS Carl Vinson under operation sledgehammer on April fool's Day of 1989. Which was just a few weeks before the April 19th explosion of the USS iowa. There were both the USS Iowa and the USS Missouri in our battle group of 56 ships in operation sledgehammer when we went to the kumchaka peninsula to attack the Soviet Union's biggest Air Force Base there. This also shows how the upper echelon of the Navy always does what we call them the Navy cya! Cover your ass! They say the truth will set you free except with our government! Our government is not we the people anymore it is we the corporation unfortunately! And this corporation does not want the people of America to know the truth. The truth is your government does not care about you or your vote it only cares about the profit of Corporations and it's buddies that sit on Black Rock State Street and vanguard who actually are the people who pull the lever for president and run the country! Just thought I'd let you know that your vote is a tracking device except for local elections! Stop paying income taxes and stop voting and the house of cards will tumble!

Whoever wrote the script obviously does not know the military very well! I've heard several times not only the captain but other people saying their soldier! There are no soldiers on a battleship there are only sailors! If you are in the Navy you are either a sailor or a Marine that's it! There are no soldiers unless we are transporting those idiots for cannon fodder in combat! Army it's an acronym! It stands for ain't ready to be a Marine yet! Because the Army has been used for cannon fodder for every war in the United States has had in history. You see we send the Army in so we can find where the enemy foxholes and pill boxes are and then we can do Navy gunfire support with these beautiful battleships. And then after that after the Army is decimated and after we've done naval gunfire support then we send in the green machine to do the job and mop it up! So thank you army soldiers for being cannon fodder for naval intelligence and naval gunfire support! So Americans to let you know the United States Navy is what keeps the waterways open and safe so you can get all that cheap crap at Walmart and have gas less than $10 a gallon! The Army does not do that and the Air Force does not do that only the navy! Go US Navy! The strongest fighting force that's ever been in human history on planet earth! You're welcome America from this Commander who served over 18 years honorably!

In April of 1989 the US Navy had a top secret mission to go and paint bomb the biggest Air Force Base that the Soviet Union had a long the Pacific Ocean in the kumchaka peninsula. The main part of the battle group where the admiral would be would be the USS Carl Vincent CVN 70 which I was the tactical action officer on which is basically the supervisor for all of combat information center known as cic the nerve center of the ship where The radars and the radios are kept. There were two other carriers in the USS ranger and the USS Constitution the Connie as her nickname was. There were two battleships in this voyage of 56 ships the largest Armada of ships that had been assembled by the US Navy since D-Day. The USS Iowa was one of those battleships and this was going to be her last voyage operation sledgehammer! This operation was very successful we ended up scaring the crap out of the Soviet Union and less than six and a half months later guess what happened? Mr Gorbachev take down that wall was spoken by Ronald Reagan! And the Berlin Wall came tumbling down! I'm not saying my operation sledgehammer made the Berlin Wall come down I'm just saying we scared the crap out of the Soviet Union and it possibly helped! You're welcome America from your commander!

Alcohol was banned from naval ships in 1914, this is all hullshit

Money wasted on this film the money would be better spent on feeding poor people

My dad worked at the pentagon and the naval war college in Rhode Island he never confided what his job was altho he was an officer

I'm a civilian. I haven't the right to comment. But I salute the men and women who protect us, and the men of the Iowa. Thank you.

Excellent movie!!! Nothing more to say.....thank you, Peter Taylor, for a great movie....👌👍👍👍👍👍
