A Virtue of Independence:

Since the dawn of ages, men have fought on many counts, some were just, while others were not. In order for a cause to be just in times of war, then the preservation of human freedom becomes deterministic, because war can lead to bondage if the people are not liberated under an equality first. Human rights and equality have shaped our modern world with the more wider view held that equal justice should be served in favor of keeping the peace, which means that peace is relative to an ordered society where ethnic equality is paramount to human freedom.

Human freedom is best expressed independently of others, but without victory in times of war, then human freedom falls into subjugation by those who seek to bring back human slavery under the guise of their sovereignty, which is the essence of tyranny. Tyranny is best challenged from the principles of liberty, because one cannot be liberated unless one has been deemed free from subjugation. Subjugation and slavery are the primary forces used by a tyrant, because every tyrant is expressed by his tyranny. How then does equality work if the people are denied their liberty? How does a tyrant fall under the yoke of his tyranny? How do the people regain their honor if all is lost?

The answer is to be freed from within in order to speak freely without, because the greatest of speeches were by those who have suffered under the yoke of oppression and were denied their liberty. None can truly appreciate freedom unless they have suffered oppression, whether psychological or physical, the principle remains the same, because the greatest freedom we have, is to believe we are free. Only then can a leader be formed; everything else is but an extension of this freedom. The greatest leader in times of war is never the one who is invested with power, but the ones who invested that power. This means that your greatest leader in life is yourself; everything else is but a virtue of independence.
