This week on The Nutshell, we are joined by Dr. Urvi A. Shah, MD, MS, a board-certified hematologist-oncologist, and physician scientist with expertise in diagnosing and treating plasma cell disorders.
At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Shah not only cares for patients but also leads research exploring nutrition and other modifiable lifestyle factors in cancer, mainly blood disorders.
Spurred by her own experience with cancer, Dr. Shah launched the first 'NUTRIVENTION' trial which has since expanded to five additional dietary trials that will collectively enroll over 600 participants.
Tune in to learn more and to hear Dr. Shah’s insights on where this exciting field of research is heading.

We had an incredible conversation with Dr. Urvi Shah, MD about the research exploring diet, lifestyle, and multiple myeloma - and how small, modifiable habits may play a meaningful role in a patient's wellbeing.
Thank you for being part of the conversation. Please let us know what you thought of the chat in the comments. Your voice matters here. 💚
