finally beat Luigis mansion 3, now I have to fucking 100% it

If you want to try to do something like we did here, this is how this works.
One important note, for the disconnect (dc) it is important you do not dc by:
1. going to the pause menu then go to return to lab
2. Closing the software
3. Shutting down or powering off your switch.
It needs to be done by error, so you can trigger this by:
1. Putting the console in sleep mode (Can just press the power button)
2. Putting it in airplane mode (not ideal if in dock mode)
3. Swapping wifi networks or turning the wifi off


          I know my POV is not really shown in the video. What I am doing on the floors Johnny DCs on is I am stalling, where I have objects in the floor I can interact with to get timers. The purpose of this is so he can finish the current floor and then complete the rare ghost floor and then rejoin. This allows him to get the solo amount of the rare ghost(s), but then he can rejoin and then get the number of rare ghosts which correspond with the current player (not including co-op) count. This works because when you dc in a lobby, you create an offline local copy of it. This allows him to get ahead of me and complete a rare ghost floor while I am still on the previous floor.  Note SneakerBoi is doing the same thing as Johnny in this case.
         Looking at this current video we have 3P, Johnny, SneakerBoi, and I. If we first just look at what we got on 5F, we got thieving slinkers. For 5F in solo you will get 5 of them. For the 3P on 5F, you will also get 5 (you only get 6 with 4P on 5F). This with the stalling allows them to complete 5F by themselves seperately, but then rejoin to complete 5F a second time, thus the dupe. Because SneakerBoi is with us, Johnny or SneakerBoi would need to leave so that way they both can get all the rare ghosts. If one person where to defeat a rare ghost before the other disconnects, only the person who defeated it would recieve it into their gallery. Similar thing happens with power-ups, that is why you have seen both SneakerBoi and Johnny at hidden treasure rooms.
          Now the duping is really efficent for getting a large amount of rare ghosts quickly, but does require you can finish the floor before the rare ghost floor and finish the rare ghost floor successfully. It is important to not take too long as if the staller (me) can't stall for long enough for the others to complete the rare ghost floor and then rejoin before the 60 seconds intermission period they lose out on a duping oppurtunity.
           If we just focus on the thieving slinkers for right now. Going back to the total amount of rare ghosts gotten, on 5F there will be 5 thieving slinkers if not 4P. Johnny and SneakerBoi get 10 by completing 5F twice. Next on 10F, there will be 3 thieving slinkers if not 4P. By doing what was described earlier they complete 10F twice getting a total of 6 from 10F. On 15F with 1P or 2P, there will be 2 thieving slinkers and for 3P and 4P there will be 3 thieving slinkers. When they first do the solo (1P) they get 2 thieving slinkers from the first 15F, then they get 3 from the second one 15F as we are all present when the floor is loading. Note the total number of rare ghosts in the floor, once the floor is loading in, it is locked and loaded, so someone leaving for instance would never decrease the amount of rare ghosts. Changing the player count 1 floor before the rare ghost floor does not change any of the rare ghosts. It will also not change the layout of the floor, but it will often change the objects and where the key will be in within the room.

       Ocassionaly, we have gotten really ideal layouts 2 floors before a rare ghost floor. (This has been mainly just toad floors with a lot of rooms and a hidden room). If we decide to go for this, all dupers will leave shortly after the floor starts. Ideally the staller will have vc and screenshare. This way they can relay certain bits of info like where the toads are or where the key is. This way the dupers can focus on completing the floor. As the staller, you will want to go and reveal conceal objects and avoiding hitting X with them. For maximum stalling, ideally you will want to hold off on hitting X or defeating ghosts until you have around 45-60 seconds left as the more time you have to complete the floor. Ideally you do not want the toads following you unless you are about to take them into the bunker. Getting them in 1 room is very helpful. You can also have Gooigi hold the last toad over the pedastal near the center of the steps, then swap to Luigi to leave the room to bank it so all you have to do is go into to complete the floor. Note only do this if there are not any toads in queue as the animation is triggered unexpectedly can lead to you ending the floor early by accident. For the regular dupe you don't need to leave a lot of ghosts but you will still want to have a lot of objects just in case. If say you have the toad floor on 13F,  you want to be able to help your teammates beat the floor as described before. This is along with having most of if not all the ghosts is very important as you are still have to wait for them to complete 15F. You will have only so much info on 14F. Note in this case the layout for the rare ghost floor will be different compared to if the dc was done on 14F instead. The rare ghost should not change though.

Of course it is important to mention this just incase if not everyone is aware of this, if the floor is not completed succefully, any ghosts or progress on any achivements do not get saved. Also rare ghosts from previous rare ghost floors always carry over, we had thieving slinkers on 5F, that means we will have them on 10F and 15F as well. The amount of them in each of those floors is determined by the player count on the floor when loading it in.
