I suspect the acoustic reflex has an effect on people playing instruments, which is why self recording is so crucial to practicing an instrument

I advice not to do the acoustic relfex test when you have tinnitus or hyperacusis. It can make it worse.. Russian roulette. The test doenst benefit this major risk
