The metal veterans keep it old-school with classic 6-strings, loud amps, and a push from some choice pedals.

Ahead of Southern metal vets Corrosion of Conformity’s show at Nashville’s Cannery Hall, PG’s Chris Kies hung out with guitarists Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman, and bassist Bobby Landgraff, who gave us a walkthrough of their rigs for this new Rundown.

"This way is Master of Puppets, this way is Tom Petty". If that doesn't sell amps, nothing will.

Pepper is one of those guys you would want to just sit in a room with a case of beer and listen to him tell stories...

@johnswinglehurst 2 months ago

I fuckin love Pepper, one of the most underrated songwriters of his generation

@Thevanquisherrr 2 months ago

Fuck yes man. In the days of crazy precision bedroom players and influencers, who can’t appreciate a loud obnoxious legend just chunking out power chords and attitude. Still love it. Always will. Long live Pepper

Good God/Bad Man album is amazing, personally it's my favorite metal album of the year so far. The blues inspiration is clearly there. It's great to hear Pepper Keenan talk about Derek Trucks and Tom Petty 😀

I got to photograph them earlier this year in Lexington, Ky when they played with Clutch. Super loud show, I loved every minute of it haha

Great to see PG get COC on the rundown. It feels like the boys in Corrosion are finally getting their due and appreciation they more than deserve.

Pepper ALWAYS has such a killer tone... COC, Down... man, sick, sick tone.

@burningbeard75 2 months ago

Pep mentioning Rory Gallagher made this video even better than it already was! 🤘🏻🎸

@rawknbearbell7032 2 months ago

I've seen Down twice and COC twice , some of the best times ever. Those dudes are so down-to-earth and these videos should gain them a lot of new fans. Good interviews, good vibes, Rawk On

Now that I'm in my mid 50's Ive become completely in love with learning all things guitar/music. I love these Rig- Rundowns just because I always learn something new, both about guitars/gear and people.
