I have said this before and I will say it again, these young skaters who starve and push themselves, remind me of the early teen tennis stars back in the 80s. They were winning everything one year, then the next season, they became washed up has-beens, due to their bodies being unable to deal with the strain and stress of puberty, growth and developing.  Tutberidze is just another Bela Karoli, pushing young girls and traumatising them to win gold no matter what damage she does to them.

I started watching ice skating because of 2026 Olympics. Then I went into the Russian Female Olympics rabbit hole. And boyyyyy was I stunned, I fell in love with all these girls. They’re just sooooo talented but the things these girls went through. No child deserves this, I hope they become role models and change the system in a positive way.
