1. I’ve never had to pay WOW any money from my YouTube revenue
2. I can only speak for myself both season promos were filmed months after filming was wrapped

World of Wonder tried to enforce the YouTube clause my season and it failed and then my own manager tried to too! Greedy pig people.

I legit don't know why they even put in some of these ridiculous clauses considering they're legally unenforceable

No one thought it was literally ‘vaseline on the lens’- that’s what they did in old Hollywood before they had filters.

11:53 Don’t forget the one time that they filmed a Bianca + Adore tie but no tie with anyone else! Courtney was talking about that on The Bald and Beautiful!

i would argue that the willam story isn’t exactly proof that the winner is “predetermined” because at the point of the finale obviously production knows who they want to crown, as you acknowledge in this video they just film multiple endings so it doesn’t get leaked. it’s not predetermining it’s just…determining lol. way different from like, AS10 when it became obvious in ginger’s bracket that she was going to make it to the final cut & probably win.

"What you may not know is just how cheaply season 1 was made." Oh we can tell girl

@RogueRocker1 4 months ago

On AS2, we all know Coco M had to change her talent from Janet Jackson due to copyright issues. This lead to her being eliminated first.

there's a difference between predetermining a winner vs knowing a finalist will not be the winner. with sharon and chad, it was obvious jeremy was not going to win. with adore and bianca, it was clear courtney was not going to win. that doesn't mean the winner was chosen by then.

@Hatafafa 4 months ago

I'm so early, Salina still expecting the pekpek alliance point

Watching season one in real time had nothing to compare it to so it was a great season for that reason.

I don't think the Phi-Phi incident with the crown falling off necessarily means that the winners are pre-determined so much as it being a case of who doesn't win it being pre-determined. I've no doubt RuPaul has a pretty good idea when she doesn't think one of them doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning her over and she's simply not going to risk another minute she has to be in drag.

One day they'll be a documentary of how WOW production were monsters who made MILLIONS exploiting the queens, paying them shit, non union, no residuals, they take your creations ex: little pound cake- Ornacia the lost goes on. RPDR is evil. We watch for the Queens not anything else.

So they were using gel filters on season 1, which often get used over lights that aren’t LED to add color or change the softness of the light. They are plastic that can usually handle high heat as those lights can get hot af. There are also a surprising number of types of clear gels. I’m not surprised that’s what they used, or something similar that’s for camera lenses.
