As long as you are able to take care of your daily obligations, don't worry about obsessing over fashion! It's fun! We only have one life, no need to feel guilty over things that bring you joy!

@Spikeswift 3 years ago

I think it is totally normal to obsess over clothes when you have such a passion for fashion. Don't beat yourself up about it, people have a lot worse fixations xx

Hi Jo. You are not alone in obsessing over clothes. I do it all the time! I also obsess over all the beautiful makeup and face creams/treatments that are available now. I don’t often give in to my obsessions but that’s more because of financial restraints than anything else. You are such a pleasure to watch Jo. You always brighten my day. Thank you.

Jo you are definitely not alone with your obsessing over a dress or whatever. I’ve been that way my whole life. I’ve bought many things that I wanted and probably shouldn’t have. I’m 69 and now as I get older things just don’t matter that much to me anymore! It’s always fun seeing what you are up to on Sundays ! Have a wonderful week!

Lovely vlog Jo, the dress was gorgeous, buy it! I’m the same with obsessing over clothes when I should be doing other things - paying bills, housework …. xx

I don’t know if it is avoidance but I would say a lot of us are thinking about the dress/ bag/ perfume ❤️

Aloha, Jo. Please don't thank us for putting up with your whims, you are delightful and that's why we watch your videos. ❤ Have a great week. Oh, next time maybe let us see Myrtle eat from her new bowl, that would be nice.

Hi Jo! I LOVE your theory on resisting dresses! 1. Try on..2. Do a few twirls..3. Urge gone. 🤣 I love you Jo! You make me laugh out loud! 😂 but I’ll definitely be putting your theory to the test. Hope you have a great week ahead. Much love xxx

I do the same thing, thought I was the only one...LOL I am 55 and still think about clothes I wore in High School and wish I still had them.. The obsessing never ends.

So happy Myrtle got her own food dish and will use Matilda's for her water. Such cute bowls!

You said it perfectly and a lightbulb went on in my head. I have known for a few years that I am addicted to clothes and shopping for them. When you said “avoidance” technique, I thought, “YES!!!!” That is ME!!!! Do we need help ?

@rachelfinn1271 3 years ago

Jo, Buy the Dress, Eat the Cake, Lift the Eyes. Life is short, we must do whatever makes us happy (as long as it's legal 😉😊)
Also your hands look amazing, what cream do you use on them? 😘💕💕

@spannu22 3 years ago

Jo, I completely relate with your description of your relationship with clothes! I think it’s escapism! Dot beat yourself up about it..we get the hard bits
of life done, and best to obsess about fun things that brig joy than harsh things!
Loved the longer vlog this week!

I am 69 just care about comfort now. I love to watch you, your enthusiasm and all the lovely things you buy and wear. Hey you only live once. You wear it well. Your so lovely and have this zest for life. Love watching you❤️

You are such an inspiration for fashion for me ! Continue to express yourself through your clothing, you are sharing ART !
You got me addicted to Clergerie shoes !! I do now order them from Montréal, Canada ! I love your work!!!!❤

@andrealandsburg8882 3 years ago

Dear Jo,.....it's not about the dress...which I would say is a miss anyway...it is about everything you did mention. You are a smart, intelligent woman and you know this, you don't need us to tell you... having done similar things to avoid the hard thing, I have learned the only solution IS to do the hard thing... you can do this. Be well, hugs to you and glorious Myrtle!

Thank you Jo for always making my Sunday a happy one 😘

@jowiens32 3 years ago

I LOVE your dresses! Honestly it’s part of why I watch. Your dresses make me so happy especially because your so joyous in them. Now I want that dress! Did I try a google search? Mayyyyybe ☺️ But you’re right. We all need to live within our means and be responsible with needs vs wants. Love you Jo!

That was a kind of unusual ending to today's blog, Dave the cabie is greatly missed he definitely is part of this show😊 as much as Myrtle and Sandra.
By the way love, love all of the dresses you wear in your blogs even those you don't buy😅
Thank you for being so natural and nice it makes the blog more enjoyable, don't worry 😄
