The downfall of Ruby Franke and her 8 Passengers crimes just got worse. With all the accused lies, manipulation, new lawsuits, and Ruby Franke’s children speaking out against her and family vlogging, and the new documentary Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, the controversy took another dark turn. And Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt have a lot to answer for. Lets hope for healing for her family, including Kevin Franke.

You know the situation was horrible when the estranged daughter’s first thought is not that her siblings were rescued but that they were dead.

Ruby was abusive before Jodie, but Jodie kicked it into hyperdrive. And Kevin is complicit as well.

"I don't do naughty things. I'm a good girl." Her infantilizing herself is so gross

If that boy at the start didn’t escape, he would’ve died. If I was the prosecutor, I would’ve tried to get an attempted murder charge against Ruby.

@brendamoon2660 1 year ago

Ruby says she is willing to serve a prison sentance. Thats hillarious! Madame, your willingness is not necessary

@brendamoon2660 1 year ago

The audacity of that father. Who cares about his healing? The abuse of the children was happening well before he and Ruby separated.

The sentences "my kids are paid employees" followed by "their consent is me" might be the most disgustingly disturbing thing I've ever heard a parent say.

@megmca 1 year ago

“Hey kids do you want us to stop filming you all the time? It’ll mean we can’t go to Disney or the Keys or anywhere fun ever again!”

Jodi’s “whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!” when the cops stepped into her house shows how untouchable she thought she was

My therapist once told me, if you have one toxic parent and the other parent doesn't get you out of the situation... You actually have 2 toxic parents, one is just more pronounced. It is actually much harder to come to terms with the abuse of the less outwardly toxic parent bc you are so much more bonded to them through all the experience with the more toxic parent.

The "sweet," "baby," "innocent" voice of nearly every LDS woman I've ever heard speak is grating and disturbing tbh.

@SassyFrassyLassy 1 year ago

The fact Kevin is acting like he is a victim is just absolutely revolting to me. He sat there the ENTIRE TIME AND ALLOWED Jodi/Ruby be absolutely horrible to those children. The fact he is still tied to Ruby and was so hell bent on keeping his marriage together just was disgusting. How do you put your wife before your CHILDREN. When you KNOW shes wrong. Disgusting and he deserves jail time too.

@czlowik 1 year ago

"i am their consent" is such a wild self report

@liiiir 1 year ago

The sad thing is.. this boy wasn't asking for help. He truly believed he was evil, and was trying to give himself over to the police.

@brendamoon2660 1 year ago

Ruby was already being mean to her kids. Jodi gave her permission to do what she already was doing. Thats not brainwashing.

@ToBeTeaToo 11 months ago

One of the worst things about this whole thing is that it was basically religiously sanctioned CA

@CallMeAlisaLoveme 1 year ago

I'm with you, Swoop. Ruby and Kevin truly enjoyed tormenting their children and Jodi was the perfect vehicle to enable Ruby to let her real self out. And Kevin never cared about anything from all appearances. Maybe money.

@kylee2556 1 year ago

Bonnie: “Let’s film you shaving your legs for the first time”
Child: “I’m not very comfortable with that”
Bonnie: “your consent is ME 😃”

@sheiladurk7299 1 year ago

1. You know very well we want a Lori Vallow doc.

2. Jodi gave Ruby permission for proclivities she already had. She was an abuser and Jodi gave her a lens she could look through to make it ok.

3. Kevin Franke is 100% guilty as well. And you can’t change my mind.
