The next Kaiju Profile will be on Orga, and will be featuring a narration by Monster Island Buddies...!

I have no problem with the design. I’m just a little disappointed we never saw it fight Godzilla. Also disappointed we never got to see any other monsters in the anime

The more and more I hear about all the work and ideas that went into this anime the more disappointed I am with the final result

My theory is that the design for MG was so complicated that animating it would’ve been too expensive, so they opted to make him a city instead.

Personally I think Godzilla fighting a weaponized city ran by an A.I. is a cool idea, my problem with it is that this is meant to be Mechagodzilla

All these abilities MechaGodzilla has... I wish they would have put him in action. At least we got that good animation which was a good example of what should have happened.

This is literally the definition of wasted potential

Mechagodzilla in the anime is full of really awesome ideas and concepts, and even the execution was cool in its own way. However, it really could have been a whole lot more. Seeing all the work put into the actual Mecha makes me sad we only saw the city. I kept hoping that a new Mechagodzilla would “hatch” out of one of the “buildings” in the city.

So all the powers that Mecha-Godzilla used in the mmd animation were actually abilities it had, amazing

I love how the Wikizilla videos about the anime trilogy are more entertaining than the anime trilogy.

The part that surprised me is that he is based on coral which is something I never imagine would work with a mech.

I wonder if the Bandai figure will end up being just a city diorama or something...

Awesome concepts, yet disappointedly wasted potential.

I find it interesting that the location they chose to build MechaGodzilla was inside Mount Fuji, the same mountain that also served as the home of Showa MechaGodzilla. A rather nice throwback to the bygone era of Godzilla films x}

Has anyone seen that fan animation of what if Mechagodzilla fully repaired itself and fought Godzilla Earth directly?

Let’s take a moment to appreciate how cool this kaiju is, then another to realize he forgot to be in his own movie

I loved how this series introduced two different death cults in the form of alien species. The Bilusaludo were so obsessed with their technology and engineering that they were ready to lose their bodies to become one with their tech. Exif, on the other hand, were so advanced that they discovered that there was no such thing as eternity, and complete self-destruction was the only way.
