I’m a huge Beatle fan and I’m the first one to say, when someone like Frank Zappa says The Beatles “were ok”, it’s a huge compliment.

I may not agree with ALL of Frank's views and opinions on certain topics, but he is very entertaining to listen to. He cuts right through any bullshit, and speaks his mind.

I thank the Universe for having met Frank,  sincere, honest, intelligent warm human being  .Ciao Frank R.I.P fratello.

Very interesting man to listen to.  Articulate, sensible, cogent and does not rely on the  verbal crutches people usually lean on.  No expletives or ums and ahs, and instant memory recall.  Answers the questions directly, without fudging, dodging the issue or trying to cange the subject.  And all with a wry smile.  Altogether, the most impressive rock star interview I've heard in many a year.

Damn, I miss you Frank.
The world is so much bleaker, less humorous, musically flaccid & intellectually barren.

Frank was so intelligent and he had no delay in answering anything

The older I get the more I relate to Frank Zappa.

Frank.... is a perfect name for him

Now I know why Zappa fans are Zappa fans. This cat was genius and I never even gave him a chance.

In 5th Grade My Brother brought home three Album's that forever changed My Life- Freak out, Disraeli Gears, and Axis Bold as Love! 1966.

"...out of necessity we became the Mothers Of Invention." What we need in 2020/21 is some freakin' NECESSITY!

I saw Frank on a particularly inspired night back in the 80's, the PA sounded flawless and Frank was BLAZING that night with brilliance: He was THE best lead guitarist that night I've EVER heard.   And I've heard many.   RIP, master guitarist.

Saw Zappa live on his Joe's Garage Tour at the Providence Civic Center 5/2/1980. Will always cherish that memory!

I've loved this man for about two-thirds of my life.

He truly was one of a kind, an iconoclast in a class all by his lonesome. No drugs or drink either, which was quite rare in the rock world. He once quipped his only vices were a pot of black coffee and a pack of Winstons! Don't forget his greatest piece of advice is watch out where those Huskies go and don't you eat the yellow snow!

Great musician!  One of my favorite albums is "Hot Rats".

I always feel that after Mr. Zappa spoke in an interview, there really wasn't anything else to say. He expressed his ideas so completely and concisely and articulately.

"out of necessity we became the Mothers of Invention"

Genius.

"I'm not the outdoor type." Lol

If anyone is interested in Frank Zappa's home life, not shown in other books, from getting up to going to bed, composing at the piano, rehearsing with the Mothers, visiting rock stars, freaks, family squabbles, and more, then read 'Freak Out! My Life with Frank Zappa 1968-1971 Laurel Canyon'. It is my story from meeting Frank in London when publicising the Mother's first European tour in 1967 and ended up living and working in his house with Gail, Moon Unit, and seven others, thus the book's unique access.
