missed opportunity to call water pea "Seashooter"

How I wish GW2 would get updates like it used to. Hats off for making new models and textures for your variants! Looks so official this way

Take a shot every time he says "Increases in fire as you shoot".

Geologist's charge shot sound is so ear piercing, he gonna have as many irl vanquishes as in game

I'm impressed by the quality of the art in this mod. I've seen a lot of mods that fail to resemble the vanilla game style wise, and this isn't one of those.
Edit: I had an idea for a gladiator star as well a while ago. He would have been an armored variant that fired a net projectile upon overheating. If the net made contact with a plant, it would have had similar properties to goop, slowing and preventing ability usage along with dealing small amounts of damage. He would have overheated pretty fast and had a quick recovery time to compensate for his gimmick.

I will say that there doesn’t need to be more fast firing cacti. Noir cactus just feels exactly like Bandit Cactus, and making vampire cactus that way too is kinda… weird. They should make it to where you have to get your shots right to make the shots do an okay amount of healing. Just so every new cactus variant isn’t a fast firing character.

I PERSONALLY think the powercorn concept would be much cooler if it used a heating system like all star but maybe thats just me

Water pea ❌
Sea shooter ✅

I love it when the mods put unused concepts and such back into the game in a full circle moment.

Shark chomped would make so many people rage

0:15 Melon cition looks a lot like Demoman XD

If my PC worked I’d play this at launch because this looks incredible! Also is it possible to make the cobs on Camo Corn’s hands have a similar camo design to his head?

2:03 imagine the song "superstar" started playing on activation

Honestly all great ideas! I think most need a tweak to their damage as it seems a bit too fast to kill for most of them 😅. I also think some ideas, although great, are redundant and leave some characters with very similar variations imo. Like the camo corn looks and shoots very similar to the commando corn, and the superstar rose is essentially party rose, with a cooler party mode. I think slightly tweaking their effects to make them more balanced yet unique would help alot. Like maybe instead of a party mode the rose instead had a charge that didnt hurt enemies but buffed allies around you. Or the camo corn was reworked into lets say a multicolor corn like in real life! He could shoot slow projectiles that do decent damage to compete with camo ranger. And maybe his hits slightly slow the enemy or maybe add the mud effect like the motocross star. Overall you have very beautiful ideas and a great talent. Please keep this work up, the community needs the kind of love and passion you have

7:53 I can't stop watching this has to be one of the most masterfully orchestrated deaths I've seen in this game

Gabebros , we are so back

I really like the amount of progress that's been shaping since about 2 months ago. The new characters all look very fun and even the returning project visionary plants got better enhancements (Especially Power corn who got the biggest glow up imo)

I played the first release of this mod for a bit and it was fun playing ops with the new characters, but some of them felt overpowered most of which came down to the grave digger and his gattling. I'm very glad to see that it's damage got reduced a bit in this showcase because in that launch version of the mod I'm pretty sure it felt up to 5 or 6 DMG per projectile and it just mowed everything down. Very happy to see that got toned down.

Besides balancing and general coding my only criticisms mostly boil down to the textures some of the new characters variants use. I love the models and designs of these varriants but the textures always kinda felt off. Like the miner or digger varriant of engi looks too clean, like he doesn't look dirty at all. Or the frost flower which is probably my favorite varriant I seen for a sunflower could work better with a frost texture or overlay like with frozen citrons peel. Then captain Candy bones kinda looks a bit too bright, like his green lighting feels a bit overwhelming to my eyes when that's how he looks normally (he kinda has the same problem I had with old power corn where it felt to saturated and bright)

The other small criticism my friend has was that the zombie varriants could have had small details on how they died. They brought up tennis star as an example with the racket around his neck, and I thought of park ranger where he had a bear trap on his foot. Like it would be neat to see some of these new variants of zombies have that detail. Scuba imp could have had bite marks and small tears or maybe gladiator star could have battle damage on his armor and body (I can image him having an arrow or a sword in one of his arms piercing his armor).

Other than that this mod looks incredible for being made primarily by yourself. I can't wait for the next release. Great work Gab.

These characters are all so creative and really go a step further to what you can actually do with variants in the game. Having water variants with better splash damage and actual Fire immunity is amazing!

Vimpire would be a perfect vampire variant for imp
