“Surprise, Spider-man - asbestos!  You’ll be dead in 6-8 years!!” 🤣😂🤣

Dude seriously just read a comic book, said "I can do that", and then he did it. Nothing but respect.

I can’t believe they actually murdered the actor who played the Green Goblin at the end of the film, it added so much to the realism

They NEED to put Dan Poole's Spiderman in the next Spiderverse movie somehow as a fun little nod to this film. Like that's not even a joke, it would be awesome as hell to have something like this get the recognition it deserves from a Spiderman property that's so aware of its meta

Real talk I love the guys Spider-Man voice, it really sounds like just an awkward guy trying to do quips and do his best to seem cool, and he’s succeeding

Jesus fucking christ, like I wasn’t actually expecting something good.  Like the actor was actually putting his entire heart into the movie.

Green Gayblin just actively HATES the idea that Bider-Man may date Mary-Jane when he could be dating his son.

The $400 dollar budget went toward medical bills

Broke: "you didn't have to swing from that building"
Woke:"i wanted the shot so i swung from that building"

This guy is basically Tom Cruise without the money, fame, or Scientology. So naturally, I like him way more than Tom Cruise.

Hi, the OG Norman Osborne/green goblin here. Couple of quick things. One: I believe you refer to this as being shot in New York, but this was shot in Baltimore. Two, sound: no boom mike, all direct camera microphone, or Overdubbed in my apartment, often under a blanket to take out the reverb and echo. Dan Poole is insane, but so true and honest to the Spider-Man dynasty. This may have been the first true fan film, and I was proud to be part of it. Thank you for your wide ranging, diverse and intriguing review :-) I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If anything good came from lotus it was the fact that more people know about The Last Stand and how fascinating it is

The pure dedication to make this fan film, in the span of 4 years, where the only media was only the comics, is insane.

All props to Dan Poole, the maniac for his scary amount of dedication and his friends with way too much confidence in his skills for making this with ONLY 400 DOLLARS

Man, I was so sad when Biderman died to King Pan

Unironically, the low quality of the film video mixed with the color contrast makes the last bit of the movie look fucking terrifying

Why did the actors for Spiderman and especially Green Goblin go so hard 😭I'm not complaining but like they are unironically good and it's crazy

Bi-der Man: He swings both ways

Yk something about these old fan films makes Spider-Man feel 10x more real and tangible than the realistic fancy CGI of today. Like damn this is a cool documentary abt the Spider-Man who used to actually exist.

"I needed the shot"
hardest thing a person could ever say

Now this is a fan film where you can see the love everywhere, it makes you want to forgive its faults and makes the genuinely impressive stunts and editing that much more impressive
