In this episode we will use gem Geocoder to:
find for GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) based on an address;
calculate distances in miles and kilometers;
search for locations within range (near);
search for locations within location (nearbys);
use Mapbox API to display a static map

Thank you! please I have a doubt. Is any chance to do a tutorial for autofill with mapbox? because with geocoder only i have a problem with an address without longitud and latitude, because this address dont show on map. Greetings!

I really like this gem but doesn't solve most problems. For instance, i wanna show products of nearest shop for customer. Geocoder doesn't solve the scenario.

when I try result.coordinates in rails c, I get an "Undefined method 'coordinates"....what am I doing wrong?.

Hi superails, I just implemented the geocode and map kick without problem in my project, but when I try to load a modal with Stimulus, the map kick js does not load. I know this error from another js libraries, and I know, you can fixed, adding the js library into a Stimulus controller. But, in that case, also, creating the Stimulus controller, the js_map can't find the JS library in modal.

Do you know how to solve it?
