■ Current Affairs Planning Window - On Quitting Drugs
Nam Joo-seong, born in 1991, is 35 years old. His public history is twofold: he is the eldest son of Nam Kyung-pil (five-term National Assembly member and former Gyeonggi Province Governor) and was arrested on drug charges (September 2017) and detained (March 2023). Whenever he appeared in the media, he covered his face with a mask and a hat. He was released in October of last year after serving a two-year and six-month sentence. Joo-seong revealed his face and name to the world for the first time through Current Affairs Planning Window. His motivation was, "If I live so openly, won't I be more willing to use drugs? I want to be free from them." We followed his "drug-free journey."
