Ive got a 2016 XC60 as a Taxi, also in white, D4 auto, there is never a shift goes by without a customer telling me what a fantastic luxury car it is! its got to be the best brand of car ive ever owned, i just wish id had volvo from the time i started on the taxi"s 22 yrs ago! i think id have still had the first one id have owned!? Even Audi just cant match the build quality of a volvo! 😋👌

These were ordered with steering code 9. Then you get all the police spec chassis, brakes and wheels.

this era V70's (phase two, as we swedes call it) were usually assembled on special lines together with some taxis, law enforcement cars and exotic exports (higher spec safety)

they tend to last a bit longer as more care was put into them during production.

My daughter drives a 2008 V70 3.2 petrol non-turbo. 264,000 miles. Everything works and it’s quiet and comfortable. Love that ‘new’ diesel V70

Both are great and Volvos of that era are just fantastic, having driven a brilliant V50 as well I can say these early 2000 Volvos are just amazing. Not that current ones aren't, they are but the sheer comfort of that era is amazing

We had police spec XC70s in the Ambulance service. The climate display was relocated to under the centre armrest. The FM radio was in the glovebox.
