Hey y'all! I've been wanting to do a video showing just how versatile even the cheapest, simplest rice cooker can be in the kitchen. I LOVE my rice cooker, and while rice is the most common dish I make in mine, you can cook so much more than just that! In this video I show how I prepare delicious meals using ONLY a rice cooker, including salmon, eggs, chicken, pork, and pasta. I'm hoping this video can be especially useful to anyone who doesn't have access to a stove/oven to cook.

LISA!!! OMG I needed this video SO badly! My kids are grown and moved out, so it's just me. I've been struggling with cooking because everything I cook makes WAY too much or makes way too many dirty dishes. I just bought a rice cooker a month ago and haven't used it once. I had no idea all this could be done in there. I cannot wait to make these meals and try many others. Thank you thank you thank you!!! <3

I have been known to travel with a rice cooker so I can cook in cheap hotel rooms, it's such a fun challenge. A rice cooker also saved us when my kitchen was getting updated/rewired.

It's nice if you are on a long road trip to pack your rice cooker. Sometimes, you just want to relax and throw something together in the room. It not only saves money but also it's more relaxing not to have to go out every night. We try to stay where they have a light breakfast and we may eat out for lunch, but after a long day on the road, I'm ready to chill in the room with something we can simply cook up.

It is amazing how versatile a simple, inexpensive supermarket rice cooker can be and what can be achieved with it! I had thought of upgrading mine to a more expensive model and maybe one day I will, but I am in no hurry, especially after seeing this video! Thank you for creating it! Appreciated.

Love this video! I have my rice cooker (a basic model like the white one you used) since 15 years or so, and only ever cooked rice in it. Time to change that!

I recognize that kitchen from last year. Hope you and Andrew had a delightful mini-vacation house sitting. Water was probably to cold for a swim this time. Thank you for this video.
