It is Dahchia :) And it is just as capable as a Suzuki Jimny. You must see it as an old skool 4x4 and that is the way it drives.
Interior plastics maybe hard but build quality is pretty good. No sounds or rattles, even riding rough terrain.

TCO of gas car is actualy less than that of diesel one. And driving experience considerably better. Scratchy plastic? Yes, it's tough, but can bear a lot of misuse.

I live in North Yorkshire - the rural folks don't spend £60- 100k on a Rangey to destroy despite what the country set wannabe's like to think.  They have favoured Daihatsu  4 Tracks - Musso's etc in the past and now favour the Duster Access in Trex white - ie the cheapest 4x4 they can get. Sheep, dogs, muddy boots can be lobbed in with no concerns. They are not stupid these people nor should the watcher be.  if you want a tool to do a job - pull a small caravan or trailer or horse box this car is the puppies privates - even 2nd hand they are great value
