Wait the supernova math doesn't work. If the entire star which is now about the size of the earth collapses in under 1 second than the outer layers of the star would have to travel more than 4800 times faster than the speed of light as light takes 8 minutes to reach earth from the current center of our star. Even if it is just a core collapse it wouldn't move that fast. This model breaks relativity.
