wolverine is only partially dying of adamantium poisoning in logan. his healing factor is being suppressed by all the alcohol and food that he eats because the forces that be put mutant inhibitors in nearly all consumable products. so with his healing factor nullified yes he begins dying of adamantium poisoning and years of built up scar tissue
