Martial artist. He started out in karate, then went on to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, UWF, and became CEO of RINGS.
At RINGS, he discovered Fedor Emelianenko and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, laying the foundation for modern mixed martial arts. He later served as a supervisor at HERO'S, and in 2008 launched the second RINGS. He produced the "THE OUTSIDER" tournament, which produced Mikuru Asakura and Kai Asakura.
