Neo ate one of the cookies and now she knows everywhere he browsed

Smith never called Neo "Neo". He always called him "Mr Anderson". It really was the Oracle speaking through Smith at the end.

The Oracle did a Queen Sacrifice to win the game.

"She's just sitting there... Deliberately!"

Legit but...whoever wrote this is great at reiterating the same thing for 4x as long as necessary.

To summarize: hardwired is better/ safer than a wireless connection 🎉

Basically, it all comes down to Smith couldn't see past his own choices that he didn't understand. He saw himself standing over Neo, but didn't see what happened next. Neo in Reloaded had a similar experience with his dreams of Trinity falling. He never saw her die specifically, but he made assumptions about it. Smith basically did the exact same thing. He didn't see Neo die. He only saw himself standing in what he assumed was victory. And his choice of what to do when Neo got up again was where he had to make a choice where he had to choose what to do next. And that was the part that beat Smith. It was Smith's own choice that defeated him.

I'm just sad that Smith didn't deliberately, purposefully eat those cookies😂

I always thought that when Smith laughs after assimilating The Oracle it was her laughing knowing that they`ve already won the fight and the war.

Hugo Weaving deserved a best supporting actor nod. At least for the first movie if not all.

The matrix has to be one of the most amazing/inteligent stories ever told. All the things it touches upon

Smith never asks the Oracle a question. I mean, she may as well not even be there as far as his dialogue. He's basically thinking out loud, trying to reason his way into assimilating her, because he's smart enough to realize she's doing it willingly, which doesn't make sense to him, but his urge overrides his caution. He's not willing to ask questions, to reach out for help. He wants to figure out everything for himself. He sees himself as smarter than everyone else, even the Oracle, a mindset that drives his misery and willingness to destroy everything.

Also, not sure about the Oracle-as-beacon theory. I don't know if it was necessary for her to be assimilated. As she tells Morpheus and company, her intent is to guide Neo. By allowing herself to be assimilated, she can be there with Neo in his final moment, and provide him guidance as to what he must do. He would have realized that she had sacrificed herself, and it was critical that he willingly give up, because if he was assimilated while resisting Smith, he would have also resisted the Source from doing it's job of deletion.

Baking cookies.. wanna a cookie?
It's like the Browser asking you to accept a cookie..😅
Eating a cookie drinking Java coffee..

Oracle: “tell Cersei, I want her to know it was me” 😂

The Oracle: You may get my Code, but youll never get my Recipe.

Smith was having a Déja vu

If you go back and watch it again, this is true because she makes one batch of cookies when Neo goes to see her, then bags it up for Sati and Seraph takes her before Smith comes but he was already there. Watch when she gives Sati the bag of cokies, she had put the other batch into the oven. When Smith finally comes she had already placed them on the plate to cool off just for Smith to come and smash the plate on the wall. So many eggs in each movie you gotta rewatch them to get it all. 100%

"We can never see past the choices we don't understand."  She gave Smith her ability to see the future, but not the ability to understand the most critical choice he would make to assimilate Neo, so he couldn't see past it.  In that moment he was acting deterministically, according to his programming, falling into her trap just as she intended.

“Everything that has beginning has an end Neo” was the Oracle speaking through Smith. The Oracle doesn't create or predict outcomes. She just has the ability to see all possible outcomes. The fate of these outcomes are based on each individuals choices aka Free Will. At the end when the Architect tells her  “you played a dangerous game” he was speaking to the fact that she allowed herself to be overwritten and she gambled on Neo making the decision that saves both “the system” and Zion. Neo had to sacrifice himself and there was no way around it. He had to kill himself to kill Smith. “New Smith” was practically him at the point. He was the result of the system attempting to balance itself out and create a “even” for the “odd” or the Anomaly (The One). Neo’s existence ruins the systems “perfect mathematical precision” as The Architect put it. This is why The One functions outside The Matrix “control”. He doesnt fit perfectly into the equation. He’s literally a system error. The function of “The One” keeps popping up after every Matrix “update”. Neo is the 7th time that its happened and The Architect keeps trying to “fix it”.

I always had a much simpler explanation for this: when Neo destroyed agent Smith at the end of the first movie, Smith came back as an evil copy of Neo, a literal negative. When Smith assimilated Neo at the end of the third movie, it was the equivalent of joining matter with antimatter: annihilation.

The Oracle still had to play a part, either by her code facilitating the annihilation or simply reminding Neo of what he had to do: if Neo had somehow died before Smith could assimilate him, it would have been over for the machine world and the matrix.
