It’s a lot worse than what you folks are saying here… I believe, could be wrong, but I believe… a lot of people are going to wind up at District court in a Federal issue involving IP theft, Copyright, and facing extensive damage claims.

If the Gods of Horror truly hold the Gates to Hell — criminal charges.

My belief, Jewel Shepard aka Casey, one of the stars and cast of Return of The Living Dead 1985.

it's the equivalent of Fright Rags deciding to make a Hellraiser film solely because the rights holders gave them the license to do a t-shirt lol

The Tarman Xmas trailer released Dec 2024, advertising the film as releasing this past Dec.

I KNEW IT WAS A PONZI SCHEME OR SOME SHIT

Linnea Quigley just shared your video on her Facebook page. :-)

Damn.

I'm not surprised. But I'm still disappointed that there won't be a new movie

I love seeing Christian so fired up about something he's all about.  This is absolutely nuts, I had no idea about any of this

Is there a single 80s horror franchise that I love that isn't tied up in some form of litigation or murky copyright lore? Jesus Christ.

Well, that is possibly the least shocking news ever. It never felt "right" that Amazon/MGM had given up the rights to Steve Wolsh. But I guarantee he will try again. These scam artists always do.

What's right is right, and I absolutely want what's best for the OG cast. That said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t really looking forward to this.

And I mean this with all due respect, but from what I saw, it honestly looked better than Trashes Revenge. Fans deserve better in all of this, too.

The whole situation just blows on so many levels. I really wish someone who genuinely values and loves this property as much as the fans do would step up and make a serious movie. Not someone looking at the fans as a quick cash grab, but someone who actually understands what this franchise means to the people who have supported it all these years.

Steve Wolsh sounds like an absolute sociopath. I don't know where people like this come from.

It is easy to say at this point he is all WOLSHED UP!!!😂😂😂😂

OMG!!! This has gotten so much deeper and darker than anything I could have even thought!!!

And I can imagine loads.

I hope somehow if this doesn’t get released at least the script is out or something just to see what it could have been

2:12, I totally forgot Tommy Jarvis was in this movie! I so need to rewatch this for spooky season!

IIRC, in Frumess' interview with Linnea and Beverly back in December of '24, Walsh got the rights to blood and make-up, something along those lines. If that's the case, it makes this whole thing even more absurd.

I had talks back in 2015 with the Russian guy who produced films 3, 4, and 5. This was back when he was selling the ownership off for films 4 and 5. He gave me the specific the guidelines to secure a deal. I had a treatment written out for a 6th film. Life got in the way. I am not sure if he still has the rights. Copyright Terminations have been all the rage these past few years.

Yeah a post by Linnea Quigley popped up on mi facebook the other day about this

What seems crazy is the NONE of these companies that bought licenses did any due diligence legally to ensure they were in the good.  (And I was one who sunk money into this - was excited to see my name in the credits).

There is gonna be a movie made just from all this drama
