The FIRST known lesbian poet (that’s been recognized by historians) is Enheduanna, the Akkadian high priestess of Mesopotamia (now known as Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, and Iran). Her works predate Sappho by 17 CENTURIES!!! So please give credit where credit is due.

Men may have a "higher" sex drive, but I think women can have a DEEPER sex drive.

Since coming out, I’ve realized how hard it can be to find information about women’s pleasure that isn’t heterocentric, geared toward men, or told from a male perspective. And honestly, hearing about it from a man just doesn’t do it for me 😅

Testosterone is a hormone that enhances whatever natural tendencies you already have. It doesn’t necessarily make you have a higher libido

9:17 It's not as much about eggs, but more about the potential pregnancy. Men don't have to worry about getting pregnant, whereas women do and pregnancy takes a huge toll on the womans body and has multiple possible health complications tied to it (and societal shame, e.g. teen pregnancy, unmarried sex), so it is logical that women would be more selective in men, because of that potential risk. I know birth control exists, but no birth control is 100%.
Also, that might be one of the reasons why some women might be more open to casual relationships with other women. Because there is no threat of pregnancy.

I was kind of shocked by the insistence that women in prisons "HAD" to definitely be bi or a lesbian to have participated in situational homosexuality.

For a lot of people, the anatomy can still be stimulated and respond to that stimulation regardless of whether or not a person is actually particularly into the the thing or person doing the stimulation.  It's basically the same reason why some people can orgasm while being assaulted but it doesn't mean they actually liked or enjoyed being assaulted at all.  Except in this case they could want to experience the resulting sensations of stimulation even if they don't necessarily want the person who is doing the physical stimulation of their body, like they just want to get off in general badly enough that they would rather settle for getting it from someone they're not really into than settle for not even getting off at all.  Or they could even simply be closing their eyes and imagining someone else through the whole thing all the while, since some people do have pretty vivid imaginations.

The physical activity participated in or not does not necessarily equal the same thing as an actual orientation at all.

I think the concept that men have a higher sex drive is also an excuse they use for sexual aggression and not calling each other out for inappropriate behaviors. That behavior has been normalized because "men just have higher sex drives".
Throw in that men "need" to ejaculate too and now you have two "legitimate" excuse to just use women
