I liked In the Mood for Love. I generally like Wong Kar-wai's films, especially Chungking Express and Fallen Angels. Most of his movies are about unfulfilled love.

Żuławski's Possession is an interesting film. Like his other films, it is highly expressive—perhaps even hyper-expressive.
It is somewhat inspired by the director's own life experiences. He once returned home after a long absence—he had been shooting a film or something similar—to find his young son, covered in dirt, licking jam out of a jar. The boy's mother (the renowned Polish actress Małgorzata Braunek) was not with him at the time, as she had become deeply fascinated by Buddhism—or, more precisely, by a certain Buddhist guru with whom she was having an affair.🫤
