Church history shows that early Christians had a different mindset than modern masculinity. Masculinity today is often confusing or misunderstood. Modern culture typically defines manhood as raw, physical dominance, the "alpha male" mentality, or by status. But some identify masculinity as inherently toxic. It seems that there needs to be a more objective understanding of masculinity rather than subjective.
In this video, we look at how the early Christians viewed true masculinity in contrast with the Romans, and see how it reflects the teaching of the Catholic Church today to find an objective understanding on what it means to be a man.

How did a doppelganger of Christianity arise and manage to take its place and successfully distort Masculinity from its objective definition.
Masculine and feminine are not logical opposites. The opposite of masculine is unmasculine, not “woman.” Strength as a male standard does not mean femininity is weakness, and femininity is not just masculinity with fewer stat points. They’re complementary clusters: agency and force on one side, communion and care on the other. Both can be strong. Both can also fail.
The video isn’t “men strong, women weak.” It’s that pagan manhood scored honor, body, and control, and early Christians scored self-mastery, sacrifice, and gift of self. Sure, you can reject that, but you can’t refute it with a definition you invented in the comments.
