Neil Tennant is a truly great interviewee and schools the interviewer with an eloquent and skilled interview - reminding us about gay before BBC toasted everything 'queer'. Brilliant recollections too. I can't see many modern stars be so engaging for such a long time
when bowie was lowered down from a HUGE glass spider, in a thrown! it looked like he was on the phone; and he said in what looked&sounded like him saying, "I want too play with the pet shop boys", it was as if there was only me that heard it! what a concert that was, (brilliant). main rd Manchester; 14th July 1987...
Neil Tennant is a wonderful Storyteller. As always a great interview with so much knowlegde and insight. David Bowie is part of our generation's musical journey and universe. The whole album "Blackstar" is very touching, sadly, a bit dark, maybe personal and yet extremely life-confirming. Death is complex in its own way, the essence of existentialism. A bit philosophic, I know, but you can't escape from your professional background.
