■ Captivating America with TNT, Breaking the mold of tradition!

In the early days of his dojo, Master Kang Sang-gu had to distribute 100,000 promotional flyers to promote his practice. His inspiration for TNT stemmed from his experience with Muay Thai, which he had begun learning 20 years ago. He conceived the idea of TNT, combining the strengths of Taekwondo and Muay Thai into a new exercise method accessible to everyone. Despite criticism that he was breaking tradition, he persisted in creating TNT, and the result was a resounding success. Word of mouth spread about his TNT martial art. Members recognized it as not only a great training method for self-defense and physical strength, but also a balanced workout. Master Kang Sang-gu's dojo attracts around 20 new members every month. Behind his success lies relentless hard work and brilliant ideas.

■ Never Losing Hope, Even in Hardship!
Due to poverty, Kang Sang-gu had to distribute newspapers since his second year of middle school to earn money. One day, he stumbled upon a martial arts studio and, captivated by its beauty, began learning the art. Following his father, who had left to earn money, he settled in the United States. Despite a language barrier and limited financial opportunities, he never gave up on his dream of becoming Bruce Lee. Persevering in his dream opened doors. A single kick to a bully opened doors to his future as an American football player. Dreaming of becoming a professional athlete, he trained daily, but Asian students weren't given the opportunity to play. Yet another setback befell him, but he never gave up hope. He ignited his fighting spirit with taekwondo, the art he excelled at, and today, he is a beloved taekwondo master in America.

■ Changing People's Lives and the World through Martial Arts
Even amidst his busy schedule of running seven studios and training instructors, Master Kang Sang-gu never ceases to take on new challenges. He not only provides free taekwondo instruction to underprivileged children, but also raises $300,000 to provide them with schooling and medical treatment. He is also developing new training programs to make them fun, rather than grueling rehabilitation. His love for his neighbors is evident in his interactions with his fellow officials. These officials say their lives have changed thanks to Director Kang Sang-goo. Director Kang, who overcame a difficult childhood to achieve success, knows that loneliness was more difficult than hunger. He is a Taekwondo master who tirelessly strives to improve people's lives and a better world through martial arts.
