For me, the game’s replayability comes from the teamwork in multiplayer. I’ve put more than 2,000 hours into it by now and still regularly play with people who are trying to refine and perfect their CQB skills. It complements our real-life training and gives us a platform to experiment with different systems and approaches.

i looked back at some of your other videos, realising this is your first in over 2 years, and i have to admit I'm impressed. I've been playing RoN for a long time and have gotten better through trial and error without ever understanding why, this video answered that question after 2 years. very well done

That's the thing I love about this game.

It's impossible to plan for each mission. The best you can do is to prepare for different possibilities. How much information do you have? Where does that doorway lead to? Can I be flanked from here? Is this a strong, defensible location?

I can't count how many hours I spent trying to get an S on The Spider. I had a plan, a route, wedges to mitigate the possibility of getting flanked, only for me to inevitably lose an officer on the roof or in the atrium of the studio.

I've had similar experiences with Twisted Nerve. There are areas in those houses where there is no good option for which way to go, as you can be attacked from 2 opposing angles. Even if you think you have the hallway locked down, someone can come through a hole in the wall and flank your officers.

It's a fantastically chaotic game that's very hard to plan around and almost impossible to perfect.

I've been playing RoN a lot recently and this hits different. Every time you think you have the game figured out, a suspect comes out of nowhere and ambushes you.
