5:18 Don't feel too bad with moves because you see, even Anna didn't see the thing that would cancel out what she thought was a great tactic. 😂

Thank you so much for covering my game Anna! <3 I misplayed that opening so badly, I literally saw what I should've played as I watched the video haha. But it was a nice swindle overall after (indeed) a hopeless position.

Anna, you do so much good for the chess sport. With your openness and no prestige you are a helping so many of us beginners.

The last game between the supposedly stronger players was the worst by far..

Levy would've lost his shet at the last game.

Can you please do more videos on the Sicilian? I would highly appreciate it.

It would be especially helpful if you could also do a separate video where you play a few games with the Sicilian against different opponents, explaining your thought process move by move—why you choose certain moves, what to watch out for, which squares are weak squares and how to handle them, when to play d5 and when not to, etc.

Thank you so much Anna!

Thank you, Anna! I’m just a beginner, and your game analyses are really helpful. I think it could be interesting to also consider how much time the player had left when reviewing mistakes, since some errors happen simply because there wasn’t enough time to calculate

Great video and analysis. One tip for beginners, Hikaru recommends not to play Blitz until you’re at least 1800-2000 rapid. I guess since it enforces bad habits, instinctual moves rather than calculation. And at low levels, instincts are lacking.
