In this episode, we design a firefighter testing course with Pearl and then put Scar, Ren, False, and Joe to the test to see who has what it takes to join the firefighters. We then begin our plans for the "How to Kill a Tango" contest.

In this episode, firefighters are repeatedly surprised to learn that fire spreads.

Sinkholes are gona become a really big problem in Hermittown with all this mining 😂

The funny bit is, at 26:58, Scar mentions that if someone is pulling you down during a rescue, you punch them in the face to distract them. He's....not 100% wrong. He was a lifeguard, and he's right that if your rescue is going to drown you both, you get them off you any way you have to. The logic being if they do drown, they pass out, and you can maybe get them to a place to resuscitate them. But if they drown both of you, you're both just dead.

26:58 Low-key appalling that Scar is the most qualified first responder on the server 😂

- Didn’t hesitate to rush into the danger.
- Found the pressure valve.
- Gave False (who let them despawn) the fire equipment so they would be safe when he died. And still had more at the end, despite those being lost.
- Took the quickest route down the building to reach the person in danger.
- Located the cat and placed down the proper safety equipment.
- Led the cat to safety, allowing Joe and False, who neglected the cat while it was still in danger, to get on the other plate and win.
- Knows first aid and proper emergency protocol (eg. reasonable force).

Scar showed some real skill and sportsmanship that allowed the others to succeed in order to complete the rescue mission. He should definitely be hired after To Kill a Tango is over.

31:47 I love how Scar said ‘gram’ for instagram and Joe thought he was talking about the metric system 😭😭

Impulse digging for diamonds is so bizarre to me because I couldn't stand seeing him walk past diamond ore when he was digging out the silo at the beginning of this season

@Nebagram 2 weeks ago

TFC would be proud of the branch mines 🙂

@TheTexan83 2 weeks ago

He's gonna use those diamonds to pay EGGZ to move Tango's mountain one block

Suggestion. You could all swap into tango skins before yelling "there can only be one!" and then battle royale

Ironically Scar is correct. During aquatic rescue missions if the person being saved is manic/panicking/showing they cannot act coherently, very common in high stress life or death situations. Dive rescuers are taught to knock the victim unconscious because it's easier to bring them to safety out of the water if they aren't fighting against you.

Impulse should bring up that he's never seen The Highlander movie and see if Tango and Skizz want to have a movie night or something to ensure that Tango gets the reference.

so what am hearing s that the fire department has a model and social meda guy (scar) and a fotogrpaher for pr reasons (mumbo) and then 4 actual fire fighters

10/10

@Juul1104 2 weeks ago

I just calculated and Impulse is halfway to contracting EGGZ to prank Doc, cause he got 5550 diamonds in his shulker box

Hermits are too wholesome, even in a competition they start working together... 😂

I like how Joe's idea was presented as if it were a giant VHS tape.

Scar talking about how you sometimes have to knock someone out when trying to save them from drowning is... actually kinda true. As a life guard, I've been taught that when dealing with someone that is panicking in the water, giving them anything to grab onto (you) is not good because in their panic they will drown you as you're trying to save them. so... letting them tire themselves out before you approach sometimes just has to be the strategy to save them. once they have grabbed you though you're kinda screwed hence the punching part. They used to teach that you should dive but now they teach that's a bad idea because they know that you too need air and they will cling to you knowing that you will surface again because they will not let you go.

@NZArchie 2 weeks ago

1. Scar was right. Surf rescue will put their rescues in danger because a rescuer is of no use if THEY are in danger.
2. If False and Joe made the Fire Fighters by standing on one pressure plate together, the Scar and the rescue kitty should be Fire Fighters too

1:08 you could give a loan to Joel so he could pay back his loan to Scar!💀

@ZweiTheBattleCorgi 2 weeks ago

Okay, so Scar is the Public Information Officer or PIO. False and Joe are the new recruits. Scar’s comment about a buffet is actually spot on because (in the US anyway) it is federally mandated to have Rehab for all active scenes that exceed a certain amount of time. Rehab is food, beverages, rest places and cooling/warming stations.

The Firefighter calendar is going to be awesome! They've got 4 members now, and then Mumbo and Scar on reserve for the calendar; so now they could each have two months.
