Didn't think I needed sawhorses with furniture precision—but now I do. Great.

Just like the winding sticks video, this project is packed with useful information.  I watched the video three times and each time I found new techniques or tips.  I will definitely watch this project more than a couple of times. Which I don’t mind because in my opinion I enjoy seeing a true craftsman at work. I also would rather hear the sweet sound of a plane shaving off a curl.  That’s music to my ears. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Absolutely amazing content! I love the way he is introducing fundamental techniques that will benefit on lots of other builds. There is no need to work to such precision for a pair of sawhorses! However they look fantastic and the features the sawhorses offer, is the cherry on top.

Hi Ian, I have just come across your channel and watched you make a pair of trestles and I really love how you do things with such precision. I have been a joiner for many years and only now getting into the finer side of woodworking. I have learned a lot from your channel just in one video.
You only have 6 videos at this point with 700+ subs but I really believe you will make it because your channel is teaching how to do finer joinery and you are doing this with hand tools. Paul Sellers has shown there is a huge audience for hand tool joinery but your channel is presenting it in your own unique way.

If you want to get more subs, definitely do shorts! I manage a YouTube channel for my church and it is always the shorts that bring in the subs.
