Id actually super appreciate more games having a subtle “you havnt saved in a bit” reminder. Soo much progress lost in my life due to forgetting to save.

“Welcome to a game about digging a hole” immediately starts yapping, 10/10, barely an intro

therapist: "try to use routines, practice being mindful through meditation"
Mark: "play power-wash simulator."

i like how when mark plays games like this that don’t really have any lore vs games that do because then we get unsolicited mark lore throughout the game it’s my favorite

I like when a random and small indie game blows up and every single person on youtube decides to play it, it's such a nice thing to see

Mark talking about how he's managing his ADHD and him completely missing the BATTERY LOW/CRITICAL warnings over and over is funny as fuck.

Refusing to excavate dozens of diamonds in a cave solely because it would contradict the name of the cave that HE created is the most Markiplier thing to do in a game like this

Mark's refusal to buy a jetpack til the very end, his need to make a nice walkway, the fact he uses a lot of lights... best playthrough of the game I've watched

The irony of Mark carefully mining so he'd always have a way out

And the character dying because they went in without an exit route is not lost on me

As someone who has aphantasia, I can't imagine what I'd do if Mark makes fun of me again

Mark: “What’s the key for?”
Chest with big shiny locks on it: …

I have to admit I got quite a laugh out of Mark aggressively throwing his money at everything that isn't the jetpack, no matter how many sticks of dynamite it took.

For all intents and purposes, Mark completed it without the jetpack. Not once did he use it in the hole that he himself dug and the game straight up disabled its use in the one place he thought he needed it.

I super appreciated that Mark dug a spiral walkable system. Everyone just digs down and I wanted to see what it would be like to have a way to just walk out. 10/10 from me.

I love how Mark has this old man attitude about new gadgets, and went on about how they're unnecessary and make you unappreciative of what you already have, only for him to almost immediately appreciate said new stuffs when he started using them

I would play this game very differently. I wouldn't dig a hole straight down, or staircase like Mark. The way I dig in Minecraft is how I'd do it here. I'd dig off the top layer of the entire chunk and keep going down in that chunk. So by the end the whole yard would be a hole straight down lmao

Game: “Inventory full”
Mark: continues digging

Game: “Battery critical!”
Mark: “Huh, that’s odd”

Game: battery depletes
Mark: “What just happened??”

Mark: "I don't want a jetpack"
Also Mark: "I wish there was some way to glide back up to the top"
