I’m Gen X, and I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until I was in my early 30’s. When it was suggested that I be tested, like most people my thoughts were of young kids running around unable to sit still. After I learned more about it and the sub-types, it made a lot more sense.

for anyone that's also not a fan of the ai that pops up on google, if you type -ai at the end, that won't show up!

I am totally making myself a swatch chart like yours when I set up my next journal.

I kept wanting to have a conversation about some of your books. I’m so happy you loved Legend’s and Latte’s I had the same scruples as you, and then I fell head over heels. I gagged a bit when I saw you put down that Pumpkin Spice book, if you’d asked, I could have saved you the pain. One of my few one stars on Goodreads. I’ve very much modeled my monthly layout on yours. Since I don’t really purchase many books, (except for the ones for the whole library I run 😃) I’ve added two pages that are different then yours, I do a ‘first lines’ page. I love it. It takes some work to look them all up as I do a lot of audio books. I also do a quote page and it is my favorite. This is where reading on my Kindle rules. I love those little connections to the actual content of the books, because I have no interest in doing review pages. This year I’ve read between 16 and 25 books each month and I would never have time to do anything else. All that to say I’m so grateful for your practical layouts that helped me distill what would work best for me.

I'm going to do the Characters name challenge in my reading journal next year! I love that idea!

I loved The Map of the Otherlands! I liked it more than I liked book 1. Have kleenex ready when you read The Nightingale.

If you like mystery/ thriller (cause tis the season) one you might want to check out is bride of pendoric by Victoria Holt. It's an older book, but it really keeps you guessing till the end.

I feel line in having back into reading more. I go through cycles. I used to read about 15 books every month then I dropped off to one or two. Now I feel it climbing again. I think its spoky cozy season and my brain wants to read all the spooky-ish books.

I highly recommend reading, "The Calamity Club," when you get a chance....it is such a terrific story! It even got a double page spread in my reading journal as it was so special and amazing! I don't know if you've read, "The Women," by Kristin Hannah, but it's my favorite book of hers...it's exceptionally good!
