I visited condominiums in Chiang Mai that can be rented for a month or more, and investigated the rent, water, and electricity costs. I also simulated how much utility costs would be for a month!
I also compared the differences between Pattaya and Chiang Mai (temperature, cost of living) based on my personal experience.
I enjoyed cake at a hidden cafe where cat staff greeted me, bought Thai pants at Warorot Market, and ate traditional Thai sweets and the unusual fruit, Langsat, at Thanin Market. I hope this will be helpful for those considering a long-term stay in Thailand.
