Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am a beginner with pastels and found your commentary really helpful. I'm delighted with how my wolf turned out but it would not have been anywhere near as good if I didn't have your instructions and demonstration to follow! Thank you again! x

Hi Will, I’m really loving this wolf so far! I always miss the livestreams, good thing they are recorded. Fantastic job!

I've done under painting with pan pastels for sea scapes, also for nature scapes. Put down pan pastel then use alcohol and brushes to get an underpainting. it can really help add dimension and page coverage

We call it glassine here in the states too. You can just buy it from DickBlick.com, or Amazon. Tracing paper is different, it has graphite on it which will smear. Use glassine or kitchen wax paper.

Completely unrelated to this video but one I'm watching on my xbox, where you told me that you play magic on Sunday nights. I too play magic on Sunday nights. I like this channel a lot more now.

I've never used frisket. thank you for sharing. I'm wondering, rather than start with drawing of wolf and trying to get the frisket to fit to the graphite outline and internal lines, put the frisket wolf down first. later, pull up frisket then put the graphite wolf down (trimmed to the outline) then capture the internal internal lines? that way, there is no graphite outline, just the pastel black background edging to define the wolf and the internal graphite
markings?

Hello Artist ☺️, I am Anurag from India. Learning from you. I do not have masking film, any hack for that? I mean alternate way.
One request to please draw a horse. Name " kala kanta" very famous horse of India or some sort of brown horse with some white on legs and forhead. Its called " Panchkalyan horse" and "kumed" color we call it. I request to teach me how to draw a horse. Or a famous painting of seven horses.
