"I exposed myself to this YOUNG WOMAN"? Uh no sir YOU EXPOSED YOURSELF TO A CHILD! You sexually  abused this child.

When I was ten, I was playing with barbies and didn't even know what a man's genitalia looked like. I can't imagine what these poor girls went through.

Calls himself a '10-15 year old boy' when explaining his own sexual assault, but calls the 10-year old child he assaulted a 'young woman'. Wow.

Not an ad for 7th Heaven right under this video lol

Him talking about him and this 10 year old saying “we both just sat there & didn’t move a muscle” is acting like him and this 10 year old were both equally as confused and caught off guard

His continued, unbelievably bad attempts to distance himself from his crimes actually enrages me. Sexual abuse doesn’t “happen.” Rain happens. Sexual abuse is perpetrated by an abuser with intent.

The balls on his ex wife though!! She's pissed and so sad, you can tell she feels absolutely betrayed, you can totally hear it in her voice. Glad she recorded everything and helped some victims, the fact that he got pretty much a slap on the wrist is so gross.

Any grown man who calls a 10-year-old a "young woman", is telling on themselves.

No, YouTube, this does not make me want to watch 7th heaven on paramount.

When a perpetrator, reflecting on his behaviour, refers to his ten year old victim as a "young woman", you know he's still dangerous.
That he can equate a ten year old child with being a woman  proves this beyond any doubt.

He called himself a 10yo boy but a 10yo girl is a young woman. He still tried to lessen the effects of his actions

The part where he referred to the victims as "women" made me so uncomfortable.
Sir, they were not women when you victimized them, they were children. I repeat, THEY WERE CHILDREN!

It's says on Wikipedia that he's still alive. That's unfortunate.

I was an adult when a total stranger followed me into my apartment building and exposed himself to me. I had a police whistle on my keychain and was right outside my door, but I froze, couldn't get the lock open. I tried to call for help, but couldn't breathe for what seemed like forever. When I got my breath back I yelled "Fire!" and he took off. I went to the police and reported him, but never felt safe again in that building, even though it was a "good neighborhood". My point is, this is how I reacted, as an adult. I can't imagine what these young girls went through.

Another thing that should be pointed out: When talking about his first victim, Collins says he placed her hand on him in such a way that "SHE was touching ME  inappropriately", instead of "I made her touch me inappropriately." It's like he's partially shifting the responsibility for what happened onto the child.

Thank you for addressing the fact that being a victim oneself is NEVER justification for abusing someone else. We are responsible for our own actions.

The fact that the 7th Heaven show was so goddamn sanctimonious just makes this whole story all the worse. He was a true wolf in sheep's clothing.

I can’t believe this man is walking around freely talking so candidly about the disgusting things he did. He belongs in prison.

When he said we sat there and none of us moved a muscle like he would describe an awkward moment between two teenagers is just sickening. She was scared to death! That’s why she didn’t move. And traumatized ever since.

“I moved her hand in such a way that she was touching me inappropriately.” Just awful. The construction of that sentence has “she was touching me inappropriately” as primary action, tacitly putting the onus on a 10 year old girl. Media coach going the hell right with him for helping him minimize this.
