I mean, you gotta hand it to them. We've not seen a kids' phone before with a built-in fart feature. They're really revolutionizing this stuff out here

"we don't condone bullying, please embarrass responsibly" is the funniest thing I've heard all day 😭😭

i saw a ad for these and it said that their son cant have devices in the bedroom. their son is 18, a legal adult.

50 dollar for 5gb of data? What a rip off

I have one of these phones. The worst part is the Google Play Store will delete itself and you can’t get it back in any way. This happens after you have used the bedtime schedule (where it locks down your phone) for long periods of time.

These are such a scam. You can just buy a normal family wireless plan with any carrier and just use family link. With ANY phone you want.

8:33 this is hilariously ironic if you've ever seen their YouTube ads they love to say roblox is a horrible platform (which it is)

I still don’t get what these specialized phones do differently that a regular Samsung phone with the default parental controls can’t do…

This isn't about safety, this is about surveillance and control

My first phone was just a very second hand iPhone 5 with full internet access and no time limits... It explains a lot about me

As someone who has had a bark phone, it is mostly used my parents (mine at least) to control what you do, very little about actually staying safe, I got it and I wasn’t allowed to have YouTube, or even my friends phone numbers until like a year into having the phone. And this was after 3 years of having not monitored phones.

2:14 Wish my dad would’ve actually listened to that when he put parental controls on my iPhone (I’m 22…)

11:10 the easiest ways to "jailbreak" any of these samsung phones is to get them in download mode (hold volume up + volume down while the phone is plugged in and powered off) and using samsung odin to flash OEM firmware onto the device (easier to follow a guide for this part)

actually seems decent for a kids phone. you did learn about the bullying texts and if you think about how long it took imagine they were being bullied on the playground how long ]it would take for you to know even with teacher intervention

8:12 it's because the phone itself doesn't support it
if your phone is too old/weak to support a game it won't show up in the playstore at all
if you click on a direct link to it it just tells you that your device doesn't support it and will not give you the option to install it

i think this is one of the most balanced kids phone on this channel, i kinda like it honestly (minus the android auto thingy). the only problem that i see is the phone itself, the a16 is a really budget phone so it's not that fast. i wonder how it will perform under a heavy load of games... i'm happy to see your child grow up, he's so young and cute :D
ps. if you can, try to install a stock android image on all of them to see how easy it is to break into.
