Uhhhh...hello people who aren't my immediate friend group lol. Didn't expect this to get this much attention (I had 21 subs when I uploaded this)...I just wanted to say thank you so much for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Stayed tuned for other stuff I may upload in the coming months whether they be shiny hunts or not idk yet. Just be patient though lol. Appreciate it guys!

The great thing about shiny kyurem is that when you fuse it with the box legandaries, the combo is shiny.

No cap when I first played white I didn't know  Kyurem existed at the time and just found it by accident by exploring the postgame. I battled it and catched it. 2 Weeks later I found out by seeing the normal yellow form at my friends ds that I had a shiny one and freaked out😂😂 wildest moment in my career playing pokemon

The fact that this video was recommended to me the same day I reclaimed my OWN shiny kyurem in black at full odds as well. Damn, kinda cathartic thank you.

the fact you made this for 21 subs makes this even more special, as it captures character unlike other youtubers now and just reminds me of my friend which I love so thank you for sure a great video

you've definitely been picked up by the algorithm, and it's good to see smaller pokemon channels get the views they deserve!

When you kept showing the clip of a shiny kyurem fainting, I thought you were foreshadowing a fail, and the finale with you trying to catch it had me on edge. As a fellow masochi- I mean… shiny hunter, I congratulate you for your catch, and your content. You’ll go places with this kind of content. Can’t wait to see future videos!

Harvest/Leppa Berry/Skill Swap/Bestow to avoid Struggle is a genius move

I thought i knew every shiny pokemon available in this generation. After the countless weeks/months a group of friends and i spent, to make an almost complete shiny living dex. Kyurem was overlooked. Now we gotta do this one as well.

Why is his sub count 30? This guy deserves more than he has and he deserves to be recognized with this dedication

"we lock special pokemon shiny's to give them via lame distribution events! cuz that makes sense!" ~Some japanese dude in a suit

UPDATE: WE ARE ONLY 10 SUBS AWAY FROM 6K, GO HYPE TRAIN GOOOO!!

Congratulations! I went on this hunt myself about 5 years ago. There's a really old video of a Japanese YouTuber catching shiny Kyurem shortly after the game launched in 2010 over there. The uploader got bullied hard by dislikes and nasty comments from people who assumed Kyurem was locked, which I always felt bad about. So I decided to go for it in late summer 2017 and prove to myself it was possible (it's also a sick shiny, as you said).

I wouldn't get it until early summer 2018, not quite a full year. It was a pretty casual hunt; I only used one copy of the game, also Black at full odds. Most of my resets were made while rewatching favorite let's plays, sitting on the toilet, or waiting to fall asleep, as it's pretty tedious work I found it made me drowsy. I dislike counting resets but I'm very confident I was way over odds, easily 20k+ as a conservative estimate after charting the time I spent watching videos while hunting.
Before this I had been pounding SOS chaining in Moon pretty hard, so going for an old, full-odds hunt like this was very jarring after how borderline free SOS can be. Still, for the cool design and all the effort I put into it, it's easily my second favorite shiny!
The whole experience was very memorable and now very nostalgic for me, so thanks for sharing yours and for letting me relive mine!

rubber bands holding the L & R buttons so you can reset with just start+select; it never even ocurred to me 🤯 great video!

I can't believe how good these sprites look all these years. Congrats on achieving this feat!

Just the whole video alone brought back hundreds of memories for me & I'm glad to see that this generation of games are still getting love

Kyurem was my first legendary 1/8192 hunt I completed, I share your opinion of its gorgeous-ness! I always thought it was funny that you could battle Ghetsis’s White Kyurem without it being shiny in W2 and then turn around a little bit later and shiny hunt it. Love that thing to death!

I love how this was more about the journey than just the reaction. Really reminds me of like an AbsolBlogs vid with how wholesome, humorous, and well made it is. Super enjoyable, hope to see more!

I really enjoyed that you just sped through all your encounters like that instead of just showing the 3 resets before it happened. Felt more real than I'm used to seeing

Actually, if you kill Zekrom or Reshiram at N's Castle, you can rebattle them at the Dragonspiral Tower and they're no longer shiny locked there
