This is the real deal. Most ambient NYC videos have too much street noise or add rain and music. Plus, I used to live in this neighborhood, so I really appreciate it! Thanks for posting

1:34:30 Probably best tight parallel parking skills I've ever seen...

41:10 minutes in, I'm so glad that parking got recorded. Round of applause.

Bro it may sound cheesey, but opening this video almost made me burst into tears. Moving to New York seems like years away, yet it's closer than I expect. One day...

Law and Order junkie here. Listen carefully during any scene where the witness is on the stand. You can hear the background noise of Lower Manhattan. You will always hear the occasional taxi honking. (I'm very confident those are taxi horns.)

This is beautiful. I spent many holidays and summers with my Uncle at 447 East 57th years ago and loved hearing the city wake up. That Condo at Christmas was something out of a fairytale. Years later right before college he downsized to 300 Mercer and I spent the summer there. Those memories are some of the best of my life and he just passed last month. This reminds me so much of our time together.

You know finals week is getting rough when you have to hit the loop button on a two hour video

For those wondering, that street corner is E30th st and 3rd AVE - you're welcome.

Who knew this much noise was so calming 😌

I love my city. But I prefer this in winter mornings plus Central park hike.

I can't help but laugh at myself a little bit. I put on ANC headphones to block out outside noise, only to put on outside noise. 😆I guess I gotta have a specific type of outside noise. This is beautiful, thank you, I absolutely love it.

1:28:35 man just decides to stand in the st for a few seconds then goes in with his day

My favorite city I’d do anything to live there but my husband is a small town guy and hates traffic

I feel the power of all the people who are there because they are strong dreamers, overcomers and visionaries!😮

I recognize this spot. You probably can see the empire state building on the left

About an hour in and i realized it was looped after hearing the same sounds, but boy do i miss living in the city! These sounds give me an extreme rush of nostalgia xD Thank you for this!

When ever i get real bad homesick, start to listen to this sound effects. The other sound effects are okay but this one, definitely hits home the most

Thank you! Now I can know what it feels like to be Carrie Bradshaw! XD <3

Makes me sleep like a baby

Very well done, appreciate this video!
