pretty sure its a volume thing not a dimension thing for cellars, 7x7x7 in any combo

“Hey bro how good are you at Vintage Story?”
“I eat cheese for a living.”
“……Please teach me your ways!”

Little known fact.
Text chat is affected by alcohol. Try it sometime. Same happens with temporal storms.

Cheese really does take forever to make. After 200 hours I’m finally starting to make it. Had to transport the sheep across an ocean one at a time. At the waiting for the ewe to give birth stage right now.

I always overkill on winter prep but no problem I have extra food for summer as black guard you need a lot more food then anybody

Im not making wine for its nutrition
Im making wine because i want to share drinks with my friends before an adventure.

You can actually, just gotta add water to first slot, vegetable to second, and then whatever meat you want. Soup is often overlooked since it replaces an ingredient with water, but it's great if you're trying to make full crocks but lack the veggies or meat.

If fur cloths are not enouth and you want even more warmth for the winter, look at the recepies using raw hides.

Wine is mostly there as a way to use fruits that are about to spoil, giving you the option to eventually turn it into pure alcohol if you never use it.
The soaked bandages are more of a dedicated medical thing, where after a fight that's left you and a few friends really hurt, you mix the bandages and get much more efficient healing.

5:00 another thing of note, you can drink the juice itself which is more filling than turning it into wine, and its still good for years

You actually can mix veggies and meat in equal proportions 2/2. Pot Pie's are an easy way to make your meat last longer

Got the game recently, putting this video on the list of homework before I jump in...
Oddly, I find myself excited for a game like this. Maybe my human ancestors are excited that I can partake in their ways without death.

When I first played this game I felt anxiety that winter would come and my world would be screwed. Now that I'm returning I don't stress about it and this video definitely helped stress about it even less!!

I never knew stew was a thing, always made soup

Just so you know, you named this video the same as the last one: Farming And Greenhouses Made Easy In Vintage Story.

Great videos btw.

just a side note: spoil time is effected directly by external temperature and container type, a creed chest is worse than a wood chest which is worse than a storage vessel.
nonetheless i am able to make cheese and yet your video was awesome!

Okay, so... My friends and I all are... Pretty easily handling winter. Might even have too much food. Mostly because one of us, not naming names, might have been a BIT of a forager in the past and literally picked up anything not nailed down if it was edible, and in the current version decided that fishing would be interesting. And then committed to the bit.

I feel like cheese and the advanced alcohol is more for trying to do it than the benefits of it.

Love how consistent you are on your uploads❤.

I appreciate this channel 👍

Thanks for this. Cooking is always the hardest part for me in any survival game. This helped a lot.
