In the nearly three hundred years of the Qing Dynasty, only one Empress was ever deposed: Deposed Empress Borjigit. Arranged before she ever met her husband, her marriage to Emperor Shunzhi broke down almost immediately over political resentment and personal friction. But was she actually lucky to lose her title? Because getting deposed may have allowed her to find a rare way out and a different kind of happy ending.

At some point ,it seems like a very bad joke . Like they pretend to be moral but at the end , the Empress is never protected especially that in so many cases she is innocent.
So while growingup up, Shunzhi was a brat in my opinion.
Only one thing he did was he had a good son, Kangxi.
Before Qung, Manchus and Mongols could remarry.
