It has been over a year and a half since I started building this vivarium and brought home my first Blue Tree Monitor (*Varanus macraei*). It has been an incredible experience watching Zoom grow, thrive, and become more comfortable with training and handling.

Because Blue Tree Monitors are such rare and fascinating animals, I wanted to share my experience and the process I’ve followed to create an environment where Zoom can thrive.
