■ Mr. A (55), who has been working as a police officer for 30 years, received a terrifying diagnosis that his hip bone was rotting.
By the time he visited the hospital after suffering from excruciating pain, he was already in a severe condition where it was difficult to revive the femoral head.
His diagnosis was ‘Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head’!
It is a disease in which blood flow to the femoral head is blocked, causing necrosis in that area, and in severe cases, destroying the hip joint; the incidence rate is high among young people in their 30s and 40s.
