I keep thinking about Irumyuui for months on end. Never has any other character's story struck such a hole in my heart.

I agree with the thumbnail, Nanachi is evil and Bondrewd is innocent.

Made in Abyss is a unique anime/manga.
You feel pain, you cry, you scream, you say that you cannot hold any longer and you stop watching...but you always come back. Either view again this masterpiece or listen to the music that is so intense, so great that you remember all the moments linked to these music...and you feel pain again (my heart bleed when i heard "Pathway")

The unicity of this anime can be sum up with that :
The emotional pain that you will endure is a very strange pain to feel and everyone feels it differently but there's more
There're the musics wich you can hear on this video making an atmosphere absolutly magnificent
There're the landscapes wich are...perfect. No other words describes it better
There're the characters who are cute, you can link to them easily, care for them

But most importantly, and it's something i found out recently, the anime WANTS you to feel the same feeling that ALL people in the anime/manga feels : the NEEDING to know more, to seek and resolve all the mysteries of the Abyss.
When you leave Made In Abyss you feel...incomplete. You WANT to go back, even if you cried, even if you have felt emotionnal pain. You care for the characters and you want them to resolve the mysteries because you can't go yourself.

I think that's why almost everyone who watched MiA would agree with that

EDIT :
The anime transform you into a delver.
You may ask, like my girlfriend, "why people keep going into that Abyss? It takes lives, countless of them. Each time inside may be the last. Even for the children and no one is saying anything, no one is going against it!"
And it's normal to ask yourself that question. The answer is the NEED to know more, to discover. As i said : when you leave the anime you feel incomplete and the delvers are feeling the same. They can't go, they can't flee. The Abyss is calling for them, like a hungry monster, like a black hole.
Once you go in the anime...you can't go back. you can't forget it, you can't put it away. It will come back and draws you to it.

Kevin is a legend. What wonderful score to perfectly compliment an amazing story and work of art. Thanks for putting all of this in one place.

Ah, made in abyss! The greatest anime that I can never recommend to anyone!

VOH is like falling from the sky with 3 arrows in the chest and with a satisfaction smile, remembering all of those good days...

Made in abyss is the only gore anime im actually invested in cuz berserk and evangelion are good but this is just PERFECT

Vueko: Having one of the saddest background in the entire serie.
Wazukyan: "Hm yes, yum yum Insect."

listening to this for the 100th time

This might be the best OST in anime

One of thee most deceptive Mangas out there. Wow.

I have been listening to this all day for the last 4 days.

Трек на 17 минуте звучит КРАААЙНЕ эпично при фоновой картинке. Прям мурашки по коже...

The sheer aura of made in abyss characters is unmatched, even just latent aura that was farmed across the course of the story... the artwork in this video adds even more aura too

10 out of 10, would cry again

The abyss is truly beautiful

If you ignore the messed up stuff within

Made in abyss is full of Tragic incident and characters. It made my cry Several times in anime

Vueko story was most breaking for me. To think how she was abused and Suffered her whole life, even so she still managed to keep Irumiyuui happy and not alone. Everytime i think about her, it make me cry. Rip Vueko.

The fact that listening to this music even 2 years after my first watch of the anime makes me relive the memories of watching it as if I was inside the world is a testament to how truly powerful and gripping the world of MIA is.
