i am here for Prof Alice Roberts

She's warm, she's enchantingly lovely and beautiful on so many levels. Even a casual observer of archeology can't fail to be entranced by her infectious enthusiasm and charm.

Many thanks to Prof Alice Roberts & all involved with this fascinating archeology!

Gorgeous, smart, charming and an absolute joy to listen to.

Anyone who has a soft spot like myself and countless others for the enchanting , captivating Alice Roberts, might want to put aside 40 minutes of their time for her Desert island Discs episode. A fascinating revealing insight into her history which is entertaining too. Her choices of music are cool.

camera quality is excellent

A most captivating lady is Prof Roberts.

The Ice Age didn't occur overnight. Ancient humans weren't fleeing from some wall of ice like they were in a fantasy action movie. In fact, I'd be surprised if they recognized the Ice Age at all.
Migration patterns would gradually change according to available resources. The change of flora from small changes in temperature and precipitation, will lead to a change in fauna, including humans. Even rivers change course or dry up. But without any written records, and because of the gradual changes to conditions, I think most humans would live in a world very much like the parents and even grandparents lived, unaware that a few generations before they were migrating around a region a bit north of where there were then. They moved south gradually over the millennia, and in keeping with the practice of following other animals.
And at glacial maximum, when things were their direst, none of them would remember that thousands of years before things were different.

Love these clips. More please!

Dr. Roberts is stunning.  Just stunning.

Prof Alice Roberts!! 💗

My ancestors survived by doing everyone they could:)

Philomena Cunk should interview her.

So interesting!! Thank you.

Love prof Roberts work. Bones tell new stories about ordinary peoples lives that written sources cant match.

Great work. I wish the video was a bit longer, and showing more findings. Thanks.

I love this woman's voice... goodness.

"Some of the first houses ever built"... that we know of, since they didn't completely biodegrade back into the earth like everything does.

What a fabulous lady, great looker too !

Makes sense, you use what you have on hand.
