I’m 18, and i know what an overhead projector is💀

This is a part of the story

Clancy is on his way back to Dema after he landed on that island in The Outside - he is just getting to shore

He was using his power from The Outside to get the message into the people in Dema of what is really happening- the next video for this lore is Navigating where it shows his trip leading up to axtually being in Dema in Paladin Strait

This video will help you understand the story of Clancy... Him being in the gym talking to the kids IS attached to the story!

Live, Tyler's voice is impressive, and Josh is very fast. They both have a fucking energy! Overcompensate opens the show of this tour and it's amazing!

65 years old.  This song is the bomb!!!   Going down the Twenty One Pilots rabbit hole now. Don't know where I've been.    Great reaction!!!

"raps the way this song needs it to be done" is fucking facts. this how you know you a real one

"Crazy Town - Butterfly" - is the butterfly song you were thinking of probably, and yeah, it just gives me 2000s racing/skateboarding video game vibes. That whole opening to Overcompensate is a Need for Speed Most Wanted/Tony Hawk Pro Skater track if I ever heard one.

edit: bro I just finished typing this comment, unpaused and your guy on the right said he felt like playing THPS. Insane nostalgia/vibe precision with this track.

I don't know if you've seen their Guns for Hands video, but there is quite a bit of unusual, odd mannerisms that you might find pretty interesting. I believe it is from 2014. Also, if you want experimental check out they're self-titled album which is extremely experimental and also parts of their Vessel album are as well.

TOP productions are simply on a different level, video and music wise.
Can't wait to see them again on April in Berlin. Thanks for the nice reaction :)

You truly need to go down the rabbit hole of the lore!  You won't be sorry!!  The Clique will show up and help you walk through it!!

it’s funny that you mention the projectors for math (which, btw, i’m 16 and they still use this at our school) — nicolas bourbaki is the full name of nico/blurryface as stated in trench’s “morph,” and that name is taken from the collective pseudonym of a group of mathematicians in the 1930s. the math group nicolas bourbaki created the “dangerous bend symbol” mentioned in this song as a signifier that there was difficult material ahead! love the reactions <3

It makes me so happy that you liked this song! It really is a summary of everything that's great about TOP: Stunning production work, perfectly crafted beats that take you on a journey, Tyler's unmatched lyricism, and Josh going absolutely ballistic on the drums, not to mention the storytelling. It's all so good!

To explain what's happening in the video: Clancy/Tyler siezed, or possessed, the body of a dead person, in order to sneak back into the city of Dema, and recruit people to the rebellion against the Bishops!

The next song/video on the playlist is my personal favorite, and it's an absolute BANGER, so I'm super excited for you to check it out!!!

It’s part of The Lore - it’s Clancy (Tyler) teaching the younger ones. …. PS: Clancy is mostly shot in their hometown (columbus oh) and this is is an old church (and horns = Ned aka Tyler’s creativity (check out chlorine if you don’t know)

Definitely my favourite song of theirs in recent years

next semester is gonna blow your mind, it's a cool song AND music video is a masterpiece

This song is 🔥🔥🔥 and filled with TØP lore - my fave song from this album |-/ 🌻

Love the reaction! Those overhead projectors were used until the Smartboards came along so I’d say anyone over 18 should know what they are

wait till yall see them live! They put on a great show.  Keep watching, they don't miss so any song will be good.

love seeing yall so hyped over this song

This one was my most stream song of 2024, I overplayed the shit out of that one when it came out, I mean DAYS ON REPEAT. And I still love it today, great track !
