That’s the cool thing about nursing that there’s many avenues to take your license

After being a nurse for 28 years, I left facility work to be an RN Case Manager for hospice. It’s sooo much better, and great pay 💰 I will never do hospital nursing again.

I just got my rn and been working as a new nurse for 2 weeks now. I already want to quit bedside. I am giving it a year and looking for something else no doubt. This bedside aint it.

This video resonates with me so much. After working in the hospital for less than a year, I'm ready to put my life, my family, and my mental health first before my job. And it's true-that I felt like just a number while I was there. Not that my experience was bad  because I had great patients and coworkers but it is a demanding job for sure and night shift is very difficult. There are still many ways to help people, they don't all have to involve working bedside!

Did doing inpatient Dialysis for about 7yrs altho i was doing Dialysis at the bedside, im not the bedside nurse. It was so Chill i love it. But left the job a few mos ago because we had to move out of state and landed at a bedside position. This is my first time working on the floor 20yrs after i graduated nursing school. Only been working bedside for about a month and i can see why nurses get burnt out. Let’s see how long i last

Don’t let them turn off your candle you’re inspiring and I am sure a great nurse maybe bedside was not for you but you can still make  a living on your nursing degree/license keep looking wishing you all the best .

been a nurse for about a year. Most my time in the OR and then i switched into a burn trauma ICU. I dont know but i feel like my expereinces have not been the best where ive even considered leaving nursing in general

Giiirl, i am so with you on this!  Im currently working in pcu and its the most stressful and pays the least. I don't know how much longer i can do this

Girl, I am listening and watching your video and I’m sorry I saw that the biggest problem you had but nursing you had too many sticks burning in the fire.
Nursing is a passion it’s a calling and I think you may update yourself an injustice by burning too many sticks simultaneously however life goes on and we all have to make our decisions . I wish you the best.

Hospitals don't really paid nurses enough  money but their CEOs' make million of dollars. The workload in the hospital can drain you emotionally and physically.

Try residential treatment center and thank me later. I love it still 12s but not bedside . Just medication management like detox or center for mental health diagnosis . You are not always with the residents only for med pass and if someone is sick

Just hit my 1 year mark and I’m about to accept an offer for a clinic. I’m so done with bedside. But I’ve been at bedside in some capacity since 2021. I’m so burned out at bedside

Oh yes, you know when you talking to those females, they always go to the negatives whether they were talking about you or not there was not your business. If they’re not talking to you people will always talk. Workers will always work. Caretakers will always take care of people do to all those Young nurses stay focused on the task. Five years is a good time to get a great handle on your career. Decision can be made after that, but you can encompass other things and will be in a better position to juggle.. knocking just thought of bringing a different point of view.!!🥰

Hey how did you get a job in pediatrics I’ve been applying as a new grad and it seems very hard to get a job in that. I’m interested in NICU, mother/baby, and pediatrics. If you could let me know I would appreciate it. I have an interview for pediatrics home care, but I’m not sure if I should since I want to start at a hospital to feel more comfortable since home care you are more by yourself.

😢  so sorry bedside didnt workout for u. Try another hospital before u give it up for good. It could just be the culture there why u didn't appreciate the vibe. Good luck with ur future endeavors and keep us posted
