“Who was using Roselia back in the day?”

Wally for one

it was me, I was using roselia back in the day, great mon

Deku with the Hi Jump Kick that recoils if he misses is so meta holy

I love seeing Clobbopus as your mascot, they're one of my favorites

Couldn't you wait to evolve until you get bubblebeam then evolve surskit?

14:00 "You can alter DNA sequences , dude you can cure cancer with this type of thing."
Joules: "No i don't wanna cure cancer , i wanna turn moonrock to sunrock"

Anime Ash: gotta catch 'em all!

Joules Ash: gotta destroy 'em all!

2:25 you do know you can delay the evolution to get those moves right?

0:45 brother you had it completely backwards. Riselia was the staple grass type, especially for thise needing to get past Watson after picking the "wrong" starter. Surskit makes plenty of sense, as does Meditite. They change very little for a trainer.

Ruby, Saphire and Emerald are the only Gen 3 games, where the rival changes team, depending on the gender.

Main protagonist names!

i had a mild grudge against lunatone for years because i had ruby and emerald but not sapphire, making lunatone the one pokemon i couldn't get. thankfully i did make a friend who did have sapphire and traded me one, so it's kinda cathartic to see you use one in this run!

I never in my life used return.
And this run is teaching me that it is OP af.

I used Roselia in gen4, but I think that's a different story.

You used Facade wrong. The burn status halfs the Pokémon’s attack stat. That is why zangoose did less with full power facade than you expected. Only if your Pokemon has the ability Guts it doesn’t lose attack while burned.

Awesome video idea! Are you considering doing the same with Yellow, Crystal and Platinum?

"The better of the two is my dear crescent."
I'm biased because Lunatone is my overall favorite Pokemon (it was a secondary ace on my Sapphire team and left an impression ever since. Love the typing, Levitate's awesome, great movepool, I agree its stats aren't anything crazy but yeah they don't need to be, it's cool and cute all without being overly expressive [I just love that contrast], and who doesn't love the idea of befriending a space alien????) and it's always awesome to see it in a run. I like Solrock, but I find the squinty eyes less inviting than the sunken/small staring eyes, lol.

I used Roselia in one Sapphire run (Ruby was the file I actually cared about, Sapphire was just doing playthroughs with different teams), it was alright. Reeeeeeaaaally glad it got an evolution in Gen 4, big fan of Roserade, one of only a handful of Gen 4 Mons I actually like.

I once did the same run back in the day! You had better luck than I did, lol.

07:41 carvanya? 😁😂 I think it's like piranha
